Ross Ramsay Has been a registered architect since 1960 and opened his practice in Dallas in 1963. In Dallas, He was the Chairman of the Dallas City Planning Commission. He moved to Rockwall in 1983 and joined the Rockwall City Planning and Zoning Commission. On top of that, he was an engineer in the United States Armed forces, and retired with the rank of Captain. He commanded the Engineer Construction Company which required management of heavy construction equipment and 200 men. Projects included airfields, roads, bridges, and various types of military buildings.
Ross Ramsay’s company has been one of the oldest architecture companies in the DFW area, he is currently located in Rockwall, but is available to do business in areas as far as Dallas and Greenville. In fact, a majority of his projects have been high rise buildings in Dallas. Mr. Ramsay has personally taken part in jobs totaling to 3,300,000 square feet, and has planned out over 8,000 acres. One of his largest land plans has been 1,700 acres in Dallas.
